Do you allow pets?
It depends on the property owner. Many do! If you are a responsible pet owner we will do our best to make it work.
How much typically are move in costs?
It depends on the monthly rent. Typically the deposit is equal to the monthly rent. There may be an earnest deposit required up front but will be later applied to your security deposit. There also may be a few other fees or deposits depending on the property. These could be cleaning fees/deposits, pet fees/deposits, etc.
For example, if a property is renting for $1000 a month, and you move in on the first of the month, a $40 application fee would apply for everyone on the lease, and if approved, a $500 earnest deposit. That deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied to your security deposit upon move-in. So you've paid $540 up front and the remainder of move-in monies would be $1000 rent and $1000 earnest deposit, minus the $540. The balance would be $1480. All monies are due before we can release any keys.
Additional deposits or fees may apply, such as pet deposits and fees, or cleaning deposits and fees.
How do I arrange to see the homes on your site?
You are more than welcome to drive the neighborhood and take a look around to see if you are interested in the area and the property. If you drive by and see that you may be interested, please give us a call and we'll do our best to get you in to see it asap.
How long does it take to process my application and when will I know if it has been accepted?
With every complete application we will run a credit check and check on past rental references. After those are verified we should have a decision. Typically it takes between 48 and 72 hours.
